Etna Volcano wild tour with e-mountain bikes

Cycling with an electric mountain bike, all around the Etna, from South to North-east with your relaxed pace. The landscapes and the emotions that you have to expect from this “travel” are breathtaking and even for the guides is always a particular experience. The local certified tour guide will tell you about volcanology, geology, and history of the volcano, while surrounding it.
The “24h trip version” include one night inside a shelter into the wild with typical barbecue on the cimney.

Etna Volcano excursion

Day trip journey on the highest active Volcano of Europe; a mix of history, volcanology and secret places, travelling for 90km in total, from Etna south to Etna east, exploring and walking the places of some historical massive eruptions and many other lesser known places on the slope of Etna (around 10 places to see) with no tourists around.  Trekking duration is to choose between 2h, 3h or 6h.

– a quick stop at Rifugio Sapienza at 2000m o.s.l.(the highest place reachable with the car).

During the trip, you will be told about some volcanology of Etna and the history of some of the particular eruptions that destroyed lots of towns and parts of Catania.

History of Tuna in South-eastern Sicily or western Sicily

Guided visit to some of the most spectacular places that still nowdays talks about Tuna, the Tonnaras of Sicily.
The trip include some of the most interesting sight connected with fishing and lunch at one of the local “trattoria”, typical restaurant, maybe after an auction for our just cought fish.
